BENEFIC is an innovative cross-border project for the development of charging and refuelling infrastructure for alternative fuels for transport. With BENEFIC the various partners aim to construct 740 points for alternative fuels and energy carriers by 2020, covering the following categories: recharging infrastructure for electric vehicles, electric taxis and electric buses, CNG and LNG infrastructure, hydrogen refuelling infrastructure and onshore electricity supply facilities for inland navigation. BENEFIC is financed by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme. Both public- and private-sector parties may submit a proposal for subsidisation under this call for projects. The (first) project call ran from February to May 2018. Discover here the selected projects. A second call for projects focusing on zero-emission charging and filling infrastructure is running from October to December 2018.
