UPDATE PROJECT CALL BENEFIC
At the end of February 2018 we opened the BENEFIC call for projects with great enthusiasm. In the past few months, we have received a great many questions. We are covering the most important questions and modifications in this newsletter.
Do you still need help, have any other questions or anything else? Contact our project team and we will be happy to look for an appropriate solution or answer with you.
Can the proposal I submit be bigger than the ambitions outlined?
Project proposals relating to a larger number of infrastructure units than the ambitions outlined by the partners are not ruled out in the assessment. The ambitions do, however, initially provide direction in the assessment (phase 1). Depending on the project proposals submitted and the remaining budget, additional infrastructure units can be subsidised (phase 2).
Can the proposal I submit differ from the ambitions outlined?
Project proposals in which the category indicated (charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, electric taxis and electric buses; CNG and LNG infrastructure; hydrogen tank infrastructure; quayside electricity for inland navigation) differs from the ambitions outlined per partner are not ruled out in the assessment. The ambitions per partner do, however, initially provide direction in the assessment (phase 1). Depending on the project proposals submitted and the remaining budget, categories other than those outlined by the partners can be subsidised (phase 2).
Must the exact locations for the rollout of the infrastructure be known at the time of the project application?
The exact locations do not necessarily have to be indicated in the project application, but a guarantee must be given that the locations will be within the field of application of BENEFIC. The maturity of a project proposal is considered in the quality assessment. In other words, proposals in which the exact locations are known (and possibly steps have already been taken with regard to obtaining permits/contacts with land owners) have a head start in the quality assessment.
Warning! Adapted Conformity Criteria Checklist
The introduction of the above modifications has led to adaptations in the conformity criteria checklists. These new documents are available on our website. Please use these updated application documents for your project application.
